Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses

As a professional, you may wish to develop your skills in your particular area after gaining an initial qualification. In addition to our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, we also offer a number of courses which can contribute to your personal continuing professional development (CPD).

These include tailored short courses in the form of accredited modules that are offered as; face to face courses, paper-based distance learning courses or e-learning. Some are also described as ‘blended’, in that they will have a face-to-face session at the start, followed by paper or web-based materials.

You do not have to ‘sign up’ for a degree programme to undertake CPD courses/ modules as you can do all these short courses as a matriculated associate undergraduate or postgraduate student. As an associate student you have the same access to all of QM student learning and information technology services, as well as support from the course co-ordinators and lecturers.

If you do not want to commit yourself to a full course, we can offer you a variety of individual credit bearing modules, across our range of CPD and postgraduate degree courses, that you can build up towards a full qualification. Where this option is available, you will find that there is a 'Single Modules for CPD' section on the course pageFor more information, please speak to our Admissions team.
