East Asia Institute of Management

QMU and the East Asia Institute of Management (EAIM) have been in partnership since 2003.

The programmes offered through this partnership are delivered by EAIM, with quality assurance from QMU. This means that EAIM faculty provide the teaching and student support but QMU ensures the standards of teaching, learning and assessment are in line with the equivalent programme at QMU and meet the expectations of UK Higher Education.

The programmes are all offered at QMU's Edinburgh campus as well. The entry criteria and academic standards are identical and graduates must achieve the same learning outcomes to be granted the award. The degree certificate is awarded by QMU following ratification by our Board of Examiners.

EAIM delivers the following QMU programmes at its campus in Singapore:

The partners have agreed a managed teach-out of the above programmes. All existing students will be supported to complete their studies.

About EAIM

EASB had its genesis in 1984 as Informatics Software, providing professional and vocational training in information technology. The company was restructured in 2001 to offer academic degree programmes and renamed East Asia School of Business.  The school is now known as the East Asia Institute of Management to better reflect the range of subjects offered.

With the inception of the Council for Private Education under the Private Education Act in December 2009, EAIM was among the first batch of PEIs to be awarded the inaugural 4-year Edutrust certification.  It has successfully renewed both the ERF and EduTrust Certification in 2014 and more recently in May 2018.
