Opportunities to Meet Us

We know that COVID-19 (coronavirus) has brought great uncertainty, and that applicants to our degree programmes will be very keen to know when they can embark on life at Queen Margaret University and what that experience will be like. We are therefore really pleased to confirm that our autumn semester will start in September as planned and that we are all set to welcome our new students.

Our Induction Week (Freshers Week) will begin for most students as planned on 7th September, with teaching and learning beginning on 14th September. There are a few exceptions so please make sure you check our applicant FAQs. We continue to welcome applications for entry in September.

For information, advice and answers to Frequently Asked Questions, please visit our COVID-19 pages which we are updating regularly.

Campus Visits and Undergraduate Open Days

We offer a number of campus visits each year where you can take a tour of the campus and find out more about our courses and student life at QMU. Our 2020 Undergraduate Open Days are planned to take place on online Saturday 17 October & Saturday 14 November 2020. As the impact of the current Coronavirus pandemic is rapidly evolving, we will continue to keep this webpage updated with any updates to these events. You can register your interest in our Online Open Days here.

International Students

We are running weekly online chats for international applicants who are interested in studying any of our degree programmes. These are a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have, including queries related to admissions, campus facilities or city life.

For more information, visit our International Online Events.

We will be announcing more online events on this page soon. In the meantime, you can contact our friendly admissions team.
